This year I have jumped into a different perspective in photography, High School Seniors! They are so much fun to work with and a little bit easier than your little toddlers in a photo shoot, but either way I always find the goodness and richness of taking that photo moment with my beautiful clients.
Below are the specials and ads I currently have for my prospective clients!
Santa Christmas Mini Sessions 2015!
This weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph one family before the horrendous unusual storms that came through South Florida. This being my first year doing Santa Mini Sessions, I was a bit worried this whole week about the yucky weather. Luckily I was able to reschedule my families for Saturday afternoon and Sunday. What a task!
Here is a little glimpse of this beautiful family I photographed! I can't wait for this coming week and weekend. I know Thanksgiving is in a few days, but the spirit of Christmas is always near.
More beautiful memories to capture next week! Can't wait to meet my families!
Here is my online / social media commercial I created this evening!
I am so excited to create this Santa Mini Session this year for my clients!
There are a total of 3 dates for Broward County and 1 date for Miami -Dade County.
Dates Available will be 11/21, 11/22, 11/28 for Broward.
11/29 for Miami - Dade County clients. TBA for Park location.
I am also partnering up this year with Tiny Prints and have a storefront for all my clients to use and create beautiful Christmas, Hanukkah and Holiday Cards to share with family and friends this year.
We are going to also be collecting canned food and toiletries for Hope Outreach this year.
This entire session will be in memory of my Daddy. He really loved Santa Claus and the message of love and giving to children around the world. =)
Happy Holidays! Blessings Jacqueline
This post is in memory of my Daddy, Jorge E. Marin, who passed away on June 29th, 2015. I haven't been able to update my blog posts on my website, but have been trolling Facebook for the past 4 months to cope with my grief and pain of the loss of my father.
For his wake, I created this Cinema video with older photos and mementos of the life of my Daddy.
My Daddy's last few weeks, he wanted so badly to have the people around him know he was brave, and he was. He died of lung cancer. This horrific disease did not define his weakness, but rather it defined his true bravery to battle this horrible cancer to the very end of his life. His last words to family on Facebook was to "Enjoy your life." In the past 4 months, I have been trying so badly to keep these words alive, but with a heavy heart, I sometimes fail to enjoy the little things, because unfortunately the mind tricks you to think of the sadness and horrific memories of your loved one in their last moments of life. Our family was not prepared for these days, and I am sure there will be many more days of sadness that comes with losing my Daddy. Not only did we lose my Daddy, but my step father in law lost his mother a month later, and then my future cousin in law lost her Daddy suddenly as well. So grief lurks around our family circle, and as the holidays approach, we settle into a deep anxiety of whether we will be able to be brave and have strength for those hard days that will come with grief during the holidays.
It sure is hard to "Enjoy life" without you. I love you so much!
May you know how loved you were on earth by our entire family. Until we meet again in Heaven.
I hope in meeting your grand daughter Baby Love, you will be able to share with her our family love and memories in Heaven.
Love you always, your princess, Jacquie.
I Heart <3 Faces Photo Challenge - BOYS!
My 40th Birthday was last Thursday on June 5th. I didn't expect a big party, but lots of homemade cards, mushy hugs, kisses and Love. I had 2 yummy cakes this year to celebrate. My mom came to visit, a bit sad that my dad, due to his Parkinson's disease was too ill to come to visit me, but we passed the time giving the girls manicures in mommy's favorite signature color sparkly blue. We opened presents, and I was blessed with so many lovely goodies. From beach scented Yankee Candles, to blue themed jewelry and earrings, gift cards and my fave movie candies. But only one was left, the unknown to me until we went to celebrate dinner at my favorite Cuban restaurant. At the beginning of dinner my husband had gifted me a beautiful shell frame with a picture of the Sanibel SeaClusion we stayed at last year for his 40th birthday. I didn't realize at that exact moment that we would be returning in 3 weeks for a new family adventure. I was shocked and stunned! I am so truly blessed beyond words and so touched by the love of my family and my husband. They know how much I truly love this magical and beautiful beach called Sanibel Island. Time stops here, no watches, no loud noises. Nothing can make you go too fast, because the place itself is in a little bit of cloud and beach Heaven. From the warmest sunrise to the beach wind sunset, it all becomes this enchanted place, an experience, a trance to relax, breathe and take in the love of Family.
I am sharing an image I took at Sanibel Island early in the morning. All my lil' rascals are in this shot in different perspectives. The one child on the far right running in blue shorts is my littlest rascal, Nicholas. Bundle of energy that he is, always scouring for the newest thing to touch, research and play with. This picture shows of the personality of mi familia.
OH Sanibel Island, I can't wait to see you again!
The song chosen this week for the Photographer Within Weekly Challenge is Magic by B.o.B and the lyrics “I've got the magic in me."
I had the pleasure in April to shoot a session for a dear homeschooling friend, her beautiful baby girl and her family of 7. What a beautiful family, full of Faith, Hope and Love!
My Irish twins, Nicholas and Carmine keep me on my toes daily. Our entire family is always laughing and pointing out their crazy little things they do. Life would be extremely boring without these two. They sometimes can drive my husband and me to the point of insanity with their preschool craziness. But oh how we love them so! ♥
My personal take on the theme song was literal for me this week. My son Carmine Angelo, his name translated from Italian is My Angel Face. He will be turning 5 years old soon next week, and he is a mirror image copy of his Daddy, Dennis. I hope and pray my lil rascal, (nickname) Mr. Ragu, is just like his Daddy as a father and husband. My sweetie hubby is such a kindhearted, dedicated, and loving father and husband.
A sweet early Happy Birthday to my Lil' Ragu. The 4th blessing in our casita to be part of our loving and crazy familia.
What a sweet loving legacy to leave behind in life... so blessed to have a heavenly piece of love on earth with all of our 5 lil' rascals.

Week 2/52 for The Photographer Within 52 Week Project -
Mema and Nicholas on the last day of her Christmas trip.
So hard at times to photograph Nicholas since he moves around so much and he is very active. One of the few photos where I told him not to smile at the camera, and it worked. lol!

"Show me the way home" -
Driving home in a near rain storm and you see the sun and signs everywhere... sometimes I ask in those mental rainstorms, "Dear God show us the way to YOU." The way home to God.

My dear sweet daughter, Carmela Luna and I had the utmost gift given to us this year by my generous mother in law, Irene. We Tango(ed) my mother in law, said huge prayers to be able to get an autograph. Front row seats to see Josh Groban's concert "In the Round" at BB&T Arena. It was a great Mommy and Daughter night with so many surprising, funny and daring things. And then MAGIC happened! From Carmela Luna being called on stage for her Q&A question, to getting up close and personal a Josh Groban's autograph at the end of the night!
Needless to say I have been "Grobanized", met some amazing Josh Groban fans, started a Twitter account, learned Instagram by force, and became closer with my beautiful daughter. I only had one wish that Josh would have sung "Smile" by Chaplin. He makes me cry every time he sings that song. Instead he sang Prayer with Judith Hill. I would imagine God smiling down with all His heavenly angels. What a beautiful voice! These days are truly days to remember. I cherish each and every one of them! We saw a star with my little twinkle star. =)
This week I thought it would fun to add my sweet photo of our fur baby doggie, Buster Brown. This shot is my favorite, since he looks like he has eyeliner permanently on, and has such deep soulful eyes. They remind me of yummy chocolate.
A weekend full of Sunny South Florida skies, cooler temperatures, pretty orange pumpkins, The Girls Strawberry Patch. So many fun familia memories...time is going by so very fast!
